What do we do?

Our mission

Studentradion i Sverige was founded in 1993. We are a nationwide youth organization created for students who broadcast radio.

We are one of Sweden's largest youth organizations with our about 25 000 members.

Our member stations carry out radio editorial association activities by and for students in post-secondary education, such as colleges, universities and folk high schools. Today we have 13 active stations that broadcast lots of exciting radio programs every day!

Our main purpose is to support and encourage student radio activities in Sweden. We are working to improve the conditions for broadcasting student radio, but also to expand the cooperation between our member stations. The cooperation could be about exchanging knowledge, expanding editorial cooperation or creating better economic conditions for young students interested in radio.
