Nordljud are proud to host a talk with experienced journalist and Scandinavianist Hilde Sandvik!
Hilde Sandvik is the founder and Norwegian radio host of the collaborative radio show “Norsken, svensken og dansken” which broadcasts on NRK, Sveriges Radio and Danmarks Radio. Apart from having 3 radio hosts from 3 different countries – Norway, Sweden and Denmark – the main challenge of the show is that each host speaks in their native language.
How and why did she come up with this idea? Does she adapt her way of speaking to make it more understandable for your co-hosts and listeners? What are the cultural challenges of cross border radio shows? And how do you overcome them? Can we say that the radio show is “in Scandinavian”? Find out the answers to those questions, but also more about Hilde’s background and daily work in this upcoming ‘Nordljud Talks’ event!
