This<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>micro-course<\/a>\u00a0is the direct result of an Erasmus + project led by<\/span>\u00a0Studentradion i Sverige<\/a>,<\/span>\u00a0LAB University of Applied Sciences<\/a>\u00a0(Lahti, Finland)\u00a0 and<\/span>\u00a0Turku University of Applied Sciences<\/a>\u00a0(Turku, Finland). It aims to improve student and community radio broadcasting by providing an educational program for student and community radio broadcasters across the Nordics and Europe.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A cost-effective and efficient tool for radio production training at the disposal of Nordic student and community radios, it covers topics like responsible media production, community engagement and fact-checking. It is thought of as a general introduction on radio production and broadcasting that should tease the students\u2019 curiosity in expanding their knowledge in the field.<\/span><\/p>\n

Each chapter is composed of audio clips and its transcripts. At the end of each chapter, there is a short quiz to test your knowledge and added information on the covered topic. In order to pass the course, you need to have completed each chapter and answered every quiz correctly. This course can be used by student and community radio stations to teach their new members who are new to radio broadcasting.<\/span><\/p>\n

Go to \u201cClass Assignments\u201d and start with going through the General information. Then, go through the course at your own pace.<\/span><\/p>\n
