The goal was two-fold: promote a newly created online micro-course on radio production and strengthen student and community radio in the Nordics.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The day kick-started with an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/episode\/0cKkQmxPvAC9oxAiRAh67a?si=JFWmX2Z8Qm-_iQAuHgBxcg\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/episode\/0cKkQmxPvAC9oxAiRAh67a?si=JFWmX2Z8Qm-_iQAuHgBxcg\">introduction on the created course to the target audience<\/a>. This was the result of an Erasmus+ project initiated by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/studentradion.se\/en_gb\/\">Studentradion i Sverige<\/a>\u00a0together with the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.turkuamk.fi\/en\/\">Turku University of Applied Sciences<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/lab.fi\/en\">LAB University of Applied Sciences<\/a>. Covering topics such as responsible media production, community engagement and fact-checking it can be used by student and community radio stations in the Nordic countries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Student and community radios are facing many challenges in a fast changing world. A common challenge is to ensure high quality and accuracy of information and news produced by its broadcasters. Many do not realize the power of the tool they have in their hands and how it can affect, but also influence their audience, listeners and society.
