A common challenge is to ensure high quality and accuracy of information and news produced by its broadcasters. Many do not realize the power of the tool they have in their hands and how it can affect, but also influence their audience, listeners and society.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Over the past year, Studentradion i Sverige has been working on an Erasmus+ project together with the <\/span><a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.turkuamk.fi\/en\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">University of Turku<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/lab.fi\/en\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lahti<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, aimed at creating and developing an online micro-course on radio production covering topics such as responsible media production, community engagement and fact-checking. This course can be used by student and community radio stations in the Nordic countries.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">Now we are in the final stage of the project, where we will have a final project event in Gothenburg on March 20th, where we will:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">Introduce the course to the target group<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Panel discussion on <\/span><a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/fb.me\/e\/7orYhgNlI\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8221;The use of AI in radio journalism&#8221;<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with Max Sommerstein (Development editor for news and AI, Sveriges Radio), Elise Hazel Asbj\u00f8rnsen (Newsroom editor, NRK Nyheter), and Jenny Wiik (Senior lecturer, JMG)<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">Panel discussion on &#8221;Student and community radio in the Nordic countries &#8211; Why are they important media? What are their needs and challenges?&#8221; with Andr\u00e9 Krisping (Radio AF, Sweden), Hanne Rye Hanssen (RadiOrakel, Norway), Alessia Lee (IDA Radio, Finland) &amp; Ulrik Blach Petersen (\u00c5arhus Studenterradio, Denmark)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">Opportunities to network with other radio broadcasters from across the Nordic countries.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">On this day celebrating student and community radios in the Nordics will participate stations from Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.
